Defensive Driving On-Line Traffic School

Street Rules On-Line and Traffic School

Purpose: In lieu of creating a driving record, taking the Street Rules On-Line class or attending the Traffic School will result in the dismissal of the moving violation once the class is completed. These classes are designed for those who have been charged with a moving violation in the Municipal Court, City of Green River.

 

Participation: Taking Street Rules or attending Traffic School is a privilege in handling a moving violation in Green River Municipal Court and is only offered to those who have been charged with a moving violoation once every 3 years.Defendant is not eligible for participation in the program if the defendant: 
  • Has received a DWUI in the last 5 years
  • Has had prior moving violations in this court within the past 3 years
  • Has received a DWUS in the last 3 years
  • Has received a Reckless violation in the last 5 years
  • Has Eluded Police in the last 5 years
  • Has participated in Teen Court within the past 3 years in regard to a moving violation

Participant must sign and date an Eligibility Form Provided by the Court.

 

Cost:  The cost for Street Rules On-Line is $34.95, to be paid with a credit card or other options as offered on-line.  Attending the Traffic School is $50 to be paid to the instructor the evening the class is held.

Defendants taking this class also pay the amount of the bond for the offense, which is non-refundable.  The bond money will be used for costs of the plea agreement and subsequent dismissal of the charge.
