What is Work Restitution? Work Restitution is a supervised community clean-up service.  In lieu of paying fines, defendants may choose to work off the entire amount of their fines.  Defendants may be required to wash city vehicles, sweep sidewalks, clean city shops, and pick up trash to keep the city litter-free.

How did Work Restitution get started?

The Work Restitution program is a combined effort of the City of Green River Police Department and the Municipal Court. 

Who Supervises the Work Restitution crew? Green River Police Officer Wayne Zickefoose oversees the Work Restitution Program and supervises the crews. The Work Restitution Program takes referrals from Circuit Court, District Court, Probation and Parole, and the schools.
